Joy

Joy enhances Happiness and balances Sadness and Sorrow.

Joy grows out of Faith , Grace, Gratitude, Hope and Love.

It is the pure and simple delight in being alive.

It can also be the deep satisfaction we know when we are able to serve others and be glad for their good fortune.

Yesterday I felt deep joy when surprised by a fantastic gift from my sweet & beautiful friend Line.

An outstanding book with the most beautiful pictures ,I intensly wished for over many days ” Norwegian Woods “.

Out of the blue , all of a sudden it was there with the simple remark – ” this is for you , because I love you “.

Today I found joy in a fantastic Yoga Flow Class at Puro Yoga here in Oslo, which took everything back into perspective. Thank you Axel Haukeland for your outstanding classes .

There are so many possibilities to feel deep joy, sharpen your awareness , pick them and …e n j o y …

It doesn`t matter if things aren`t perfect , because my practice, which gives me the possibility to connect with myself , is my time to feel alive , loved and free.

If you keep your body from stiffening by practicing yoga on a regular basis , you will enjoy lightness in your body and your mind , more awareness . Being in the moment will show you the beauty of life.

You are as young as your spine , create freedom for yourself by allowing your muscles to stretch and your joints to be stimulated to open up.

Look at all the potential and get startet with your ” road trip ” to freedom and choice.

The practice of starting your day with clarity begins with becoming aware of the state both your body and your mind are in .

So , while still in bed , notice whether you feel rested or still tired. Is your body tense or at ease ? What parts of your body are relaxed ?

Next , observe your mind in the same way. Is it quiet or busy , relaxed or tense ,planning, complaining , rehearsing or remembering a dream ?

Now start to scan your body , find the areas with tightness or pain and invite your breath into those places. Deep breathing and being totally aware of the moment and the part of the body you are with will help you to relax into the tightness – melt into it, by accepting it.

When the body feels relaxed , the mind tends to relax and becomes more able to absorb the details clearly. This clarity will give you the possibility to react more calm and precise.

Have a wonderful morning , a playful and relaxed day , stay tuned and bendy – both physically and mentally .

Give yourself a real break this summer , whether you are traveling or staying at home.

Summer vacation brings up sweet memories of the carefree and lazy days of childhood.Sleeping in , playing outdoors and tasting the fresh – picked berries. A sensation of complete ease.

This feeling at ease , returning to that relaxed and expansive state of mind is exactly what yoga offers.

Just a few minutes of moving with and listening to your breath starts to dissipate any anxiety and let you feel peaceful , optimistic and more creative.

Yoga is like a deeply relaxing and rejuvinating mini-vacation.

Take your time this summer and curiously explore what yoga can offer you – try some meditation , physical yoga or read about yoga philosophy.

Let go of your to-do list which keeps you from seeing and being with your inner Self.

Positive Energy

Every moment you have a choice – to be at peace or to be in resistance.

When you are in peaceyou attract positive energy and when you resist you create negative vibes that reflect back on your being.

It`s a simple choice and yet most people unconsciously choose to live in negativity.

It`s not your boss, colleagues, parents, ex or the traffic, but your own perception that creates stress and negative energy.

Circumstances are neutral and you will generate positive vibes when your inner state is one of alignment.

So , how can you attract positive energy???

Start your day with Meditation, any form for meditation , but keep it simple. Practice the meditation of becoming aware of your presence..

Relax and feel your Awareness in the midst of your thoughts and emotions.

Breath deeply, observe and start creating positive energy by simply centering yourself.

Create Stillness inside you , which gives you the Freedom to make the right decissions.

Patience

Try to figure out why you are in such a hurry.

We tend to loose our patience when we are multitasking, or when we are on a tight schedule.

If you are stretching yourself too thin, you should reconsider your to-do list.

Delegate responsibilities to others , which may be a good test of your patience. Learn to share the load.

Remember what matters to you – not focusing on what matters most in your life fuels impatience.

Create inner peace by being kind ( both to yourself and others ) , being grateful for what is and taking full advantage of what matters most.

To remember that you eventually get what you want requires maturity and patience to understand and accept.

To always have a positive outlook in life will feed you with a sense of patience.

Remeber , life is not a race , it`s a journey . Travel light !

Inner Peace

Possession of material riches, without inner peace, is lyke dying of thirst while bathing in a lake.   –  Paramahansa Yogananda  –

Simplify  –  use a limited to-do-list

Accept  –  stop using energy into resisting what is

Forgive  –  by accepting what is , it`s much easier to let go of things and to forgive what has happened

Do what you enjoy  –  and a natural peace arises from within . You are in alignment with your outer world.

One of my favorite tips for finding things you enjoy or love doing is simply to explore life. Be curious , try things out and see what you think of them instead of having theories floating around in your head.

By living in the present moment you can find a lot more inner peace.
